About Us

Military Speechwriters.com is a group of former public affairs officers who specialize
in providing professional and affordable speechwriting and ghostwriting services to
military personnel of all services and ranks.

J. L. Bettleman is a distinguished graduate of the Naval War College, where he holds an M.A. in National
Strategic Studies. He served as a naval aviator aboard the P-3C Orion aircraft and later as a mission
commander with the Royal Air Force aboard the British Nimrod. He has held numerous public relations
positions during his career and has published widely in newspapers and periodicals such as Proceedings and
The Journal of World Affairs. He founded MilitarySpeechwriters.com in 1999 as a service to military
speakers of all ranks and rates.
